The Romans were especially influenced by the art of the Greeks, which caused the name Greco-Roman art. The Romans were very skilled in creating realistic statues. But they were particularly good at making their sculptures true to life. Romans were also great patrons to art. They paid thousands of painters, sculptors, and craftspeople their works.
